Scatter Plots
A scatter plot displays pairs of related values as points on a coordinate grid, one axis for each variable. It helps us see whether there's a relationship between two quantities.
Plotting a Point
If a student studied for 3 hours and scored 70% on a test, this is plotted as the ordered pair (3, 70) — hours on one axis, score on the other.
