Data Distribution
The distribution of a dataset describes its overall shape. Comparing the mean and median tells us whether a distribution is skewed:
- Mean > median → skewed right (longer tail on the right)
- Mean < median → skewed left (longer tail on the left)
- Mean = median → symmetric
